About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Securities Operations Representative
In this role, you will:Support overall effectiveness of the team according to plans, monitor daily securities, and cash related production workSupervise daily production activities and staffGuide others on complex production improvement efforts and address procedural impactsProvide back-up for all department functions while providing coaching and feedback to staffPrioritize work and provide daily leadership to teamsContribute to solving corporate governance and address compliance issues for the departmentLead the implementation of new or revised processes and proceduresCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:6+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:Candidates with 6+ years of overall work experience having closely worked on Cash management activities including, Incoming/Outgoing wires, exceptions generated on the cash balance with Excellent communications skillsCandidates are required to have strong understanding of the Cash management/Wire transfers and Swift payments life cycle.Analyze cash flow trends and identify opportunities for process improvements.Good understanding about the wire transfers payment processing and good understanding of MT103, MT202 swift payment processing.Very good understanding about the wire transfers payment processing and good understanding of MT103, MT202 swift payment processing.Very good understanding of market participants like custodians, clearinghouse, brokers, Investment Managers, exchange etc.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury management systems is preferred.Strong understanding of cash management principles, banking products and financial instrumentsAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment and meet the deadlineHandle the queries form the onshore teams/clients/customersLeads and/or participates in production improvement efforts; and addresses procedural impactsShould have good understanding about the regularity requirements of domestic and cross border wires related to BSA travel rule and Dodd Frank rule.
