Job Summary
You will leverage industry knowledge and process expertise to provide innovative solutions for our clients in the Utilities sector. Your role will involve developing and executing global strategies, managing complex change initiatives, and integrating solutions to meet evolving business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Expertise: Work with SAP ISU modules such as Billing, Device Management, and FICA.
- Client Engagement: Understand clients’ business needs and propose suitable consultancy offerings while being part of the delivery team.
- Implementation Support: Lead and support large Customer Information System (CIS) projects, applying your Utilities domain knowledge.
- Solution Workshops: Conduct workshops with clients to gather requirements related to utility billing, device management, and FICA.
- Independent Problem Solving: Define solutions for complex projects and contribute to broader program solutions.
- Knowledge Management: Engage in reusable component inventory and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Business Readiness: Drive deployment activities across various regions.
- Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate opportunities by leveraging existing client relationships and networks.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Senior Management and/or Client Leads
- Supervises: A global team across various locations
- External Relationships: Collaborate with clients, third-party vendors, suppliers, and agencies.
Qualifications
- Education: BE/MTech or MBA (Tier 1 preferred), relevant accreditation in the Utilities industry is a plus.
- Technical Certifications: SAP IS Utilities Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP ISU modules (Billing, Device Management, FICA) and in the Utilities industry.
- Language Requirements: English (mandatory), German (mandatory, B1 and above preferred).
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Core Skills:
- Experience in SAP ISU modules (Billing, Device Management, FICA) and participation in implementation projects through all lifecycle phases.
- Proficient in FICA with knowledge of organizational structure, GL setup, cash journal processes, dunning, and payment setups.
- Understanding of Device Management processes, including meter-to-cash workflows and configuration of SAP ISU.
- Familiarity with billing processes such as rate design, invoicing, and exception management.
- Client-facing experience with basic ABAP/debugging skills preferred.
- Exposure to international Utilities clients and innovative technologies (IoT, Cybersecurity, Advanced Analytics, etc.).
Additional Skills:
- Experience in program management and successful delivery of large-scale projects.
- Ability to analyze and report on key performance indicators and change management processes.
- Strong writing and presentation skills for producing high-caliber reports and thought leadership materials.
- Capacity to work independently and lead globally distributed teams.
